These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ContextForge Chrome extension ("ContextForge," "the extension," "the Software"), provided by CoderFromMars LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By installing or using ContextForge, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.

ContextForge is a Chrome side panel for developers and QA testers. It captures debugging context (console errors, network activity, element notes, recorded actions) from a page you're testing and turns it into a prompt for an AI coding assistant. Its Security Inspector feature (Pro) passively checks a site for common client-side security misconfigurations and, on request, can automatically navigate ("Site Scan") through other same-domain pages of a site to run those checks across the whole site. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what each feature observes and stores.
You agree not to use ContextForge to:
Security Inspector is a passive observation tool. It does not attempt to exploit a vulnerability, brute-force credentials, inject payloads, bypass access controls, or take any action beyond reading responses the browser already receives while you use the site normally (Site Scan included — it only follows links, the same as a person clicking through the site; it never fills in or submits a form, clicks a button, or attempts to log in). That ContextForge's checks are passive does not by itself make it lawful to run them against a site you don't have authorization to test — you are solely responsible for having that authorization.
Findings Security Inspector produces are informational signals based on what's observable from the browser. They are not a substitute for a professional security audit, may include false positives or miss real issues, and are not a certification of security or regulatory compliance of any kind.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ContextForge for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
ContextForge includes a 30-day free trial with full functionality. After the trial, some features require a one-time paid Pro license, purchased through Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor). Payment processing and billing are handled by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record, and their own terms and dispute process apply on top of what's below. A Pro license is for your personal or organizational use and may not be resold or shared beyond what your license key's activation limit allows.
We reserve the right to change trial length, pricing, or which features require Pro for future versions; changes won't retroactively revoke a license you've already purchased.
Refunds. The 30-day free trial gives full access to every Pro feature before you ever pay, so it's your evaluation period — we don't offer refunds after purchase beyond that. Exceptions we'll honor: a duplicate charge, a proven billing error, or a license key that never successfully activates and that support can't resolve. Nothing here overrides a refund right you're legally entitled to in your jurisdiction, or Lemon Squeezy's own buyer protections as merchant of record.
ContextForge is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee ContextForge will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that captured data, prompts, or Security Inspector findings will be accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoderFromMars LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use ContextForge — including any consequences of running ContextForge (including Security Inspector or Site Scan) against a site without proper authorization. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of ContextForge will not exceed the amount you paid us for a Pro license in the 12 months before the claim, or $20, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms, in particular the Acceptable Use section above. You may stop using ContextForge at any time by uninstalling it.
We may update these Terms as ContextForge changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use ContextForge after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
